We Tried It: Cabbage Soup Diet - Day 4 (Going Bananas)

All day Gwen Stefani’s song has been in my head… “Bananas - B-an-an-as”

Banana day wasn’t so bad, but the hardest thing I found was not having my “diet buddy.”

I think over the past few days, the most important thing I’ve learned is that support is everything. Doing a diet alone, the temptations shout out at you. Having a partner in crime to be there with you is a lot easier. My suggestion is, doing a diet, get a buddy!

Again, Karlie and I are only doing this for the seven days. We do not intend for this to be a long term plan. We are testing it out to see what all the hoopla is about. Day 4 - Menu

Banana Day!

Eat as many as eight bananas and drink as many glasses of skim milk as you would like on this day. Remember to eat your soup. Supposedly this day will help lessen your desire for sweets. Drink plenty of water and take a multivitamin.

Creative Creations: Eating just bananas and milk all day can be weird and boring.  Try adding one banana with fat-free plain yogurt in a blender with cinnamon and a splash of milk… instant banana shake!

I usually have a couple of bananas for breakfast and look forward to a banana shake (3 frozen bananas, 1 cup slim milk, 1 T Vanilla, 5 packets Nutrasweet, blend till smooth) in the evening.

You guys are not going to like cabbage any more by the end of the week. Keep it up though and let see how much weight you can lose in 7 days. Are there any real health risk in this diet if you choose to go lets say over 30 days??

I eat 6-9 bananas a day. I love ‘em and they’re for ya, plus I’ve lost a ton of weight eating them. I call it my ape shit diet.

Karlie and I are eating our cabbage soup with the bananas, though not together… don’t that would be too tasty! Drinking milk and lots of water too. It’s only one day, I’m sure we’ll be fine! Thanks for your comments!

Hi, I lost 4 lbs until I got to the banana & skim milk day and then gained the 4 lbs back. I did everything I was suppose to do and would have been better off if I would have just eatten a chicken breast & the soup.
