Tried the Hollywood look, trimmed my chest once before going to the beach, my wife hated it she wouldn't have sex for a couple of days! The only thing I trim down though is my underarm hair it helps maintain body odor and allows you to use the white deodorant (doesn't get clumpy) which in my opinion is much better my wife agrees too

In the winter my wife doesn't shave her legs and I think they're just as hot as the smooth tan legs in the summer doesn't bother me at all

Thinking about it, is weird that hair is considered repulsive more now to many people, guess leaning towards a future kinda like that SP episode you won't be able to tell the men from the women, all be hairless, talk the same, and look the same

For chrissakes guys!! It's a question of Balance, 70-80 per cent of women (100 were polled) said they prefered guys who had a hairy chest, hairy arms and hairy legs...however by hairy they are don't mean sasquatch hairy! they mean a reasonable amount of body hair and I can tell you this is my experience..I am unfortunately of the sasquatch level of hairyness and it not only makes you self-conscious and unconfident but alot of women haven't responded too well to it...Even though according to the mentioned poll above 14 percent of women like over average hairy men, that still narrows the male chances of 'scoring' etc.. to 1/10 out of women you meet when it's already hard enough as it is to find an available and suitable gal! Hence I trim it to acceptable levels, to be honest if I was as hairy as Burt Reynolds in the 70's i'd be happy as that's alot, lot less hairy than i am naturally..However, though trimming improves my self image and confidence to bare my arms etc.. it has the draw back that even though I trim it to about an inch (normally 2inches -4 inches length) length it becomes somewhat stubbly and this stimulates it to grow longer/stronger so that if you don't trim it grows back even stronger...so to the guys saying don't change nature and it's fine to be hairy that's one incorrect extreme at least 9/10 times and the guys who say be cue ball hairless by shaving screw that..i'd like to be reasonably and masculinly hairy on my chest, arms and legs...It's a question of Balance! SKIP is right, he's hit it on the head..

You can use items you have around your home to help with the stretch marks, like white vinegar and other home remedies. So check around before buying expensive creams and lotions form all over first.

"Young half naked and hairless boys all over the place. It’s no wonder people think this is the way it should be. Lucky for me my wife likes a real man."

First of all, has the fact that some men naturally don't have a lot of hair been considered? A lot of you say that being hairy is just a fact of life and it cannot be helped, and go on to call a hairless man 'Less of a man'. Does this help you feel better about yourself? Because for some of these hairless males, it is also just a fact of life. You compare hairless men to a prepubescent boy, calling him feminine - then go on to say that a real woman shouldn't be judging a man and asking them to change. Well, why are 'real men' ('Hairy men') judging their fellow sex? They can't change it if they're hairless, and you belittle them for absolutely no reason. A man should never be judged on merely the growth of hair on his body - especially to guage whether or not he is a man.

Furthermore, I find it hilarious that some of the men here are not shaving or waxing because they don't feel it right to mess around with what they naturally are. I will not even get into the way this new-age society stuffs it's face with the unnatural, and rather will say that I find it disgusting that you will attribute this wonderful concept of natural living to your manly male selves, but gawk at a woman with hairy legs! Why is this 'natural' standard only applied to men? If you feel it wrong to go against nature, then what are women? Poprox? Stop contradicting yourselves in order to justify your fear of a waxing strip.

Personally, I think we should only do what we're comfortable with. And some of us are trendhappy, simple people who like the feeling of being waxed and shaven. Some of us are intelligent and like the feeling of being waxed and shaven. Some of us prefer body hair that we in particular find purely and naturally sexy - and trust me, the trendhappy simpletons will find each other and live happily ever after, and the rest of us will also find who appreciates what we are, as we are, and therefore we should leave each other alone within such a silly goddamn topic!

The world is what it is, and if the majority is not following this trend, the same exact people would be following another one. And we would sit talking about it - talking about the examples being set. Ever think it's not the examples, but the people looking at the examples? If they do it, they do it! Until they start hurting someone in the process, let them be. It's who they are.

I agree with Todd from a few days ago. Men don't control how hairy their bodies are any more than women control what size their breasts are (at least originally!) Get over it, America. Men are hairy, they are supposed to be hairy. For those men who say, "I shave and I hate it!" Stop shaving - did you read all those comments from women who LOVE their hairy men? Get a real woman and throw away the razor! My husband is hairy and I love it. I didn't marry him for his hair or lack of. I join those other women in saying it's sexy and I love it!
For those women who think it's "gross" or "dirty" - get a life and stop letting the media, hollywood or models tell you what to like. You are reacting to a stereotype - not reality.

The first time I was asked to shave my body hair it seemed like a really gay thing for a man to do. A fitness trainer I had hired wanted to use photos of me with my legs, arms, back, and chest shaved in my "after" photos as one of his success stories for his business's website. It was a pain to remove all that hair but I had to admit that afterwards I liked the clean look and feel. I don't do it religiously with the exception of periodic back waxing. Now in my 40s I like having some of the unattractive hair that sprouts removed. As for what women think I don't care. Doesn't matter what you do you can't please them anyway so why bother. I do it because I like it. Body hair or the lack thereof has neither helped nor hidered my love life.

Hehe I see a lot of angst from men who think their masculinity is tied to their hair grooming habits or lack thereof. I say masculinity is more about playing to win. Failing to adapt to change is playing to lose.

Whining about change is not masculine. It's just pathetic. But more importantly it won't change anything. It's not going to convince any women who don't like hair to like it anymore than a women with a tribble growing in her armpit is gonna convince you to like it.

I started shaving my chest a year ago when My chest hair was turning predominently grey (I am only 38!) My wife prefers a little grooming in another area on me as well.

Choosing to have or not to have body hair is a personal choice, it's as simple as that.
I'm somewhere in the middle, I'm a trimmer down there.

I am not hairy to begin with so maintenance is pretty easy.
I do not go for the bald look but keep it close and in control and prefer that all of my partners do the same. For me, I just think it's a good personal hygiene choice.

The commnents here suggesting that men who trim or shave are fems, demasculated in some way, or are mindless drones who blindly follow Hollywood trends are ridiculous. I am none of these and as a 23 yr old male fashion model living in Miami, can assure everyone that I get way more than my share of sheet time.
