If even one person loses enough weight to be healthy, well then it was worth it. I think the one million pounds thing is a great challenge...probably won't get close but it's a nice attention-grabbing number to get people signed up. The population of OKC is 506,000. With a 1 Million Pound Challenge, that basically dares everyone to lose two pounds. In a world where obesity is rampant, I don't see how this is a big enough step. More media hype than anything. However, anything that gets people out and motivated to do exercise is OK in my book. GET FIT!
