Whatever be the stress on parents, but the fact is that they both are equally responsible for bringing up their children, earlier male was considered as a bread earner and female as a house holder but now the scenario has been changed in the way as it is explained in the article http://www.octanmen.com/articleDetail/305/in-her-shoes.htm
Realty check given in the article is awesome.

When my kids are sick it is a real stresser for me as not only am I worried about them but there is missed school and work, getting caught up on work missed, lost wages, medical visits and bills, etc. SO how do we know these parents aren't stressed because their kids are sick and not the other way around?!

What were the stressors for the parents? Parents put too much stress on themselves. Spend more time just chilling and communicating as a family instead of trying to keep up with the Joneses and the Joneses kids! Life is just too short.
