I always fall back into a memory of my grandfather from the 60’s whenever I get a wiff of canvas and oil materials for tent and machinery making…he had his own tent shop in his back yard, and I would often sit and watch him sew, and the sewing machine oil had a distintive odor I will never forget….it is a happy one.
