I'm very happy for this gentleman and it appears that his frame of mind is healthy and positive. Good in every way - he's doing great! And bless those who have stepped forward to help him. But what I'll never understand about individuals who reach extreme obesity, and are bed-ridden as this man has been, is how they obtain - and pay for - the mountains of food it takes to continue to gain pounds or even to maintain a high weight. Why are the so-called "loved ones" in their lives enabling/aiding them live a crippling, miserable life, toward an almost certain early death? In other words, who is it that is getting the food, preparing it, and transporting it to this man's bed?
