I also had a terribly painful response to laser hair removal on my legs a couple years ago. My legs swelled up, with THE WORST excrutiating itchy blistering rash that subsided over the next couple weeks. The dermatology practice that offered the service, had me come in free of charge a handfull of times over the next few weeks, to see how it was healing. They said they had never seen a reaction like mine. I didn’t ask for any monitary compensation, but probably should have at least asked for a refund. I figured they had me in so many times, to keep me from taking legal action against them.

I am not surprised to hear about this woman with the second degree burns. What I find surprising, is that before I had the procedure, I searched on the internet for people who had bad reactions to the procedure, and could find nothing but people saying it was painless. This is FAR from what I experienced.
