I am in awe at the insensitive and cruel commentary of the little boy with hypertrichosis by FOX News and Friends anchors (between 9:30 and 10a) this Sunday morning. For an anchor to laughingly make reference to a silver bullet being a possible cure to the little boy's problem is (a) the worst punchline to the sickest joke I've ever heard; and (b) unprofessional and uncharacteristic of FOX.

My husband and I are were incensed by the uncaring and unfeeling attitude of the panel. An apology is owed to the family of the little boy along with others who suffer from this rare condition.

I can't believe how many bullies have commented on this story. Where is the compassion? If you had to walk around in his shoes for one day you would take back your childish, ignorant comments. May this little boy and his family feel the comfort that only God can bring them and continue to live his life to the fullest. To those of you who made those horrible comments...what goes around comes around!

I am very sorry that this child must live with this condition and be made to feel different than everyone else or that something is wrong with him because of the way he was born. However, I am even more sorry that out of the nine previously posted comments, only one had any compassion whatsoever (the last one; from CW). I never post, but when I read this particular article I wanted to tell this child that God has a reason for everything under the sun and no man may ever know his reasons. I'm sure he may wish to be like or look just like the other children, but I think he is simply adorable just the way he is. God bless you Pruthviraj.

Pruthviraj,

I'm a fat ugly old man and people stare at me as well. I can't answer your mother's question fo why God would do this to you. I can say with all my heart that I believe god loves you and I both dearly. So dearly that he endured the cross to save us. Your religious beliefs are not my issue. I've stated mine.

If you can get to the States, you and your's are welcome to stay in my guest room. When we go out together, they can stare at both of us. I'm not easily intimadated. Still, you never really get used to it. Surely, Fox News, as owner of this site, can get us in contact with each other to see if we're compatable.

Yours,

That's a hairy situation, but I am sure he will pull through. I wonder if he gets poop stuck in his fur like a bear does? I also wonder how many of the 50 are chicks...talk about having a big bush.
