A year ago I also suffered a tick bite. I discovered it and with the help of my husband we removed it. I put it in a tissue and then a plastic bag. I called the doctor the next day and when she saw the size I was put on two weeks of antibiotics. I had fever, muscle pain ,nausea and head aches. I was one of the lucky ones who found it in time, kept the pest in the baggie for evidence and went to the doctor. Please make sure to call your doctor as this can be a life long problem if you ignore it and don't treat it. Also forgot to mention about using tweezers to remove, you might break the ticks head off and it could still be infecting you so please make sure you see a doctor even if you think you "got it all". Just a person who knows because I have been there. I also live in PA but think I picked it up in NC on vacation.
