Sexpert Q&A: Why Are My Breasts Shrinking?

Hi Yvonne,
Currently my breast size is a 34B. I have been working out for about 9 months now and I feel like my breast size has been decreasing. Is this possible? Also, is there anything I can eat or drink to increase the size of my breasts?
Jessica

Dear Jessica,
When a person loses weight overall, they’re going to also lose some of it in the chest area, though how much will vary from female to female. A person will not, however, only lose weight in the chest area due to exercise. Some personal trainers will tell you that when you get below 12 percent body fat, you will start to see a decrease in your breast size. There’s really nothing you can do about this other than to stop exercising, and that’s not healthy.

A woman’s breasts are made up of fat more than anything else. So you’re losing weight because you’re using the energy that’s stored in those fat cells, and they’re shrinking. The only way to maintain or increase your breast size is to use padded bras, have cosmetic surgery, or go on the birth control pill, since some women will notice that their breast size is enhanced by the type of hormonal birth control method. You can eat or drink your way to bigger breasts by gaining weight, but your entire body will also increase in size.

Jessica, in some states, women with chests of 50″ and above are being required by law to register their tits as potential weapons. Look for the good in the bad.

That’s the first thing that goes when my wife loses weight. Just as strangely, they seem to pick up weight later.

If you’re losing weight and using a diaphram, you may want to make sure it’s still working. Happened to a lady I worked with. They were happy with the baby, but just weren’t planning another one.

This is a horrible epidemic striking America. We need government funding to identify the problem and fix it immediately. The horror!!!

Unfortunately, I’ve experienced this as well and it’s very disappointing. BUT…I will say this: I’ve noticed that once I increased my upper body weight routine and began increasing muscle, my breasts seem to bounce back to fullness somewhat (and that pun was absolutely intended!). Something to consider is the Brava Breast system for increasing what weight loss has stolen. It’s a great alternative to surgery but requires 10 weeks of serious commitment. For you men out there: mock us if you must but don’t be hypocritical. You know that you love staring at beautiful breasts and for those of us that have had them and lost them; it’s hurtful to not look and feel as feminine as we once did. In today’s culture which seems to be driven by male lust maintaining femininity is a priority for most of us women.

I’d rather have smaller boobs with a tight ass over big boobs and sag-butt any day of the week.

Well, anything larger than a mouthful is wasted.
