My greatest sympathy goes out to all victims of cancer and their families. I'd like to give thanks to all the people who choose to test new procedures and treatments at their own risk. You truly serve all of humanity.

I believe that this will be the treatment of the future for ALL diseases. The human body is built to repair itself, we just need to better understand the biological processes involved holistically and at a cellular level, so that we can encourage the proper immune response to each threat.

I had a melanoma superficial spreading level 3 in 1977 and rec'd BCG immunotherapy from MD Anderson in Houston for one year. To this date I have not had any spread of melanoma or any other cancers. I think I am a success story!

This is so encouraging, I have not heard about this treatment. My father was diagnosed with 2 malignant melonomas in 2000. The radiation, chemo and chemo
pills almost killed him, but he fought it for 5 long years, after being told he had
only 6 months. He would have given anything to have tried this treatment.
His funeral was 3 years ago yesterday.

Back in 1976 my husband was diagnosed with malignant melanoma. The cancer had already spread to his lymphatics (in the groin area). Following extensive excision of the cancerous growth and the involved lymph nodes, he declined to undergo the recommended radiation and chemotherapy. He was treated at Yale New Haven Hospital, where he opted to join a study group whose participants were treated with an immune-boosting series of BCG injections. He was the only survivor of the group, and remains healthy and disease-free to this day.
