How do people let themselves get to be 500lbs?
That is just disgusting….
When I put on an extra 5 or 10lbs, i can feel it.
There has to be something in their head that says
hold on! I know that I have that.

What killed her is eating too much.

If the lady took care of herself and did not gorge on food, to become this morbidly obese mess, she would not have died.

Just being stuck for three hours didn’t kill her, it was the proverbial ’straw that broke the camel’s back’. Anyone remeber the video that was released on youtube.com a couple of months ago that showed a guy trapped in an elevator from Friday afternoon until Monday morning, and he survived. I’m sure if she hadn’t been 500 lbs. she would have survived. She was in contact with staff, she had orderlies with her, and she was in stable condition in the ER after the elevator was repaired. She wasn’t ignored as in th case of the woman who died in the ER on the floor.

Reviewing the hospitals procedures??? Okay, let’s see how easy it is for the prosecuting morons to get a quarter-ton person out of an elevator. What, let me guess, she was 500 pounds because of a glandular problem. Whatever. The hospital should not be liable for a person being that fat. She would not have been in the hospital if she wasn’t there for her weight related health problems to begin with.

What killed this 500 pound woman was her mouth. Now, her mother wants to blame some one else for her daughter’s lack of self control. When will we ever learn to accept responsibility for our own actions?

Her heart couldnt take the stress or anxiety.Poor soul.Still 500 pounds there is no excuse for that.

As usual people try to shift the blame..The hospital is not
responsible..Try saying”I should have hid the food”.
I am not being critical but just sit at the Mall and watch
what walks by..Unreal..America is a free and obese country..
Sorry for the lady…
