Please ask Dr. Marc Siegel if he lived in New Orleans, La when he was a child. I would also like to know if his father’s name is Jerry. I believe that is his name. Dr. Siegel Sr. lived near us in New Orleans in 1959 and helped us in many ways. I will e mail him directly if I can get his e mail address. Thanks.

This pill really sounds promising for even people who are suffering from ALS, Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. My sister was diagnosed with this disease and was told she would live only 5 years, but she is a fighter. She has never given up and has now lasted 19 years and still believes in her recovery someday, God willing. This pill sounds like it would truly help her as she is always willing to experiment with new medical advances. Please let us know more about this new drug as we are all hopeful for her.

These drugs work in a way unlike other performance enhancing drugs like anabolic steroids or EPO. They actually cause cellular changes in our bodies.

This is the brave new world of physical enhancement, be it for athletic performance or physical appearance or the improvement of medical conditions.

While it is foolish (hopefully) to think that a pill will make exercise obsolete, it is unlikely that drug companies will dismiss the enormous potential success of a drug that could cause dramatic weight loss while at the same time improve the performance of our cardio-vascular system.

These pills, if successful, would be a license to print money for Big Pharma.

***On another note, type 2 muscle fibers are also prevalent in the muscles of Olympic sprinters.
