The fact that we can live with only one kidney may be one reason why some doctors/surgeons are willing to “buy” or steal a kidney from some patients or non-patients alike, dead or alive. Some of this body part stealing is thereby “justified” in their (medical professionals’) minds because they might “save” some other patient’s life with a stolen kidney. Unfortunately, there is also the monetary incentive for some of our greedier doctors/surgeons who want to pocket the $30-40 thousand that the stolen kidney might fetch for them on the body parts black market. Since some of our doctors/surgeons have expensive drug habits (approx. 5-10 % of Canadian/American medical professionals have alcohol and/or drug abuse issues), the drugs some of them are willing to steal from their employers, the hospitals etc., might not be enough to satisfy their drug addictions. They may resort to the horrific practice of body parts stealing in order to get the cold, hard cash to pay for their expensive drug habits. Medical professionals around the world have been caught participating in the stolen body parts for cash business. Everyone from surgeons, doctors, nurses and ambulance drivers, to morgue attendants and funeral home operators have been caught participating in these grotesque crimes around the world, including here, in North America. If any of you think that these “medical” crimes take place only in poorer, third world countries then you need to get your head out of the sand, give it a good shake and open your eyes. Our “medical professionals” are just a lot more “discreet” about it. In the poorer countries the body parts business is more out in the open, almost in your face.
