Sexpert Q&A: Staying on Top of Kegels

Dear Dr. Yvonne,
I’m terrible at remembering my Kegel exercises, but realize they’re valuable. What’s a gal to do to keep up her routine?
Pamela

Dear Pamela,
The key to seeing results is to be committed and consistent in your practice. It can be difficult to remember PC exercises at first, so be sure to pair the practice with daily events. These may include stopping at a red light during your drive to work, every time you walk your dog, standing in line for your morning java, or watching the evening news, amongst others. Basically, anything you do on a regular basis can act as a great reminder to get in shape, with this being one exercise routine no one, but your lover, needs to be privy to.

Thank you for your q&a on the kegels. I was researching something else and though I had never heard of the kegels, as my doctor only want to prescribe drugs. I felt hopeless with this bladder issue. thanks to you, I think that I can do these, while sitting at my desk or driving to/from work and make a difference in this particular area of my life that has at times, kept me trapped at home. I hate being in public and never knowing when the problem will strike. Thank you. Have a great day.
