I was overweight 50 lbs housewife for 20 years. At 45 years old, I started playing badminton. My whole body changed to a 25 years old lady figure from size 13 to size 8. I was still overweight 20 lbs. To feel more reaction to play badminton, I started jogging for one or two miles every other day, my weight reduced 10 more lbs. I am wearing size 4 now and feel energize every morning. I beleive excercise and positive thinking can keep people live longer.

I haven't read the study but it seems, by its nature, that such a study would suffer from a positive bias. If the requirement to be included is that one is running for twenty years then anyone who had become too ill to run would be excluded from the study. Equally anyone whose joints, bones, etc. gave out would stop running and be excluded from the study.

I started walking for exercise about 18 years ago. I walk 3.6 miles a day, six days a week. I carry a 4 lb. weight in each hand. I am 57 years old. The best way I can describe the health benefits, is that I feel like "I died and came back another person. It's that dramatic. My legs, wrists, and lungs are as strong as when i was 20.To others I say: "please find time to do it!"
