We have tried everything we know of and what the doctors have prescribed. Everything seems to burn him, and does not clear it up. Nothing has cleared him except when he is on steroid by mouth. I go to a Dermotolegy Dr on a yearly visit. I have tried over the counter meds as she had suggested, nothing works, I was on a antibiotic and the first time it went away for 2 months and then I tried it again and it did nothing. I don't think my Dr realizes how this bothers me, now my hair is getting so thin, my hair is very fine so it will look terrible in time. I am a 70 year old woman. healthy, exercise and have good nutrition habits. I am about 20 lobs over weight which I am working on. Is there something that you could advise me that would help me.
