One of the ways I purge the dust mites from my bedding is by eating lots of gassy foods. Cabbage, beans, brocolli, chili, you name it, are my source of ammunition. After a day of stocking these types of food in my stomach, I'm primed for a night full of farting. I'm pretty sure my flatulence is driving the mites away. It's worked with the cat, as it no longer wants to sleep in the bed.
