I have lung cancer and was diagnosed last year. I, too, am interested in the use of skin cancer treatment for lung cancer treatment. I have tried to find the website to read up on it, but have been unable to do so.

When I saw this segment, I remember that Massachusetts General Hospital was mentioned in reference to this hospital's research scrutinizing cancer genes thoroughly to find a pattern of mutation that would help lead to a better understanding and treatment for the individual cancer patient. There was mention of a women that had lung cancer and by thoroughly studying her genetic tumor pattern they found that she was a good candidate for drugs that were generally used for skin cancer treatment. This women's lung tumors went away, according to the report. Was this part of the segment on "A New Approach to Cancer"? I'm trying to find this part of the information, but I don't see it in Dr. Siegel's article. I'm trying to give this information to a friend, who's son has osteosarcoma.
