It is a thrill to have The Kissing Hand recommended for the start of kindergarten. Thank you for bringing the book to the forefront. I hope parents and children will not only read the book, but take the time to put a kiss in each others hand upon separation to be used as needed. Chester and his mom still do. I also hope readers will find The Kissing Hand has so many more applications such as a night sleeping over at grandmas, or a child going to Irac for our country, Each of the books in the Kissing Hand series helps with similar situations. I hope parents and children will familiarize themselves with the other stories. A Kiss Goodbye is another book that will help children jump from one year in school to the next. And the, Mystery at Blackbeard’s Cove series will keep 3rd-5th graders laughing at the edge of their seats.
