Sensitive Areas

Dear Yvonne,
Are men’s nipples really that sensitive? I wouldn’t think so. What would make them so?
—Brad
Dear Brad,
In both men and women, the nipples are surrounded by the areola and consist of smooth muscle fibers that cause them to become erect, (like when cold or sexually excited). During sexual stimulation, the nipples fill with blood, becoming more sensitive to the touch in some individuals; male or female.

Duh. I love it when a woman teases my nipples. they kinda react like hers and we both can enjoy the pleasure
I doubt any man’s nipples are as sensitive as a woman’s.
Lisa, i beg to differ on that one. My husbands nipples are very sensitive, on the other hand, mine are no where close to sensitive.
My husband’s nipples may not be as sensitive as mine, but they are sensitive and he enjoys me playing with and sucking them.
I have never enjoyed having my nipples stimulated in romantic encounters – to me it’s uncomfortable and unsexy.
Lisa,
You have a lot to learn!
Lisa, you have no idea what you are talking about. You are totally wrong – maybe you need to get out more.
Mine are what’s defined as flat or inverted nipples. I got told this by my OBGYN when I asked why I was having extreme difficulty with nursing, this combined with cysts in the milk ducts kept me from being able to breastfeed my son. I do enjoy nipple stimulation but they rarely get erect or stay that way for more than a few seconds. Is this a lack of sensitivity issue?
I get absolutely nothing from nipple stimulation. Just leave them alone.
The people who didn’t play with their nipples when they were teens have sensitive nipples now. Hahaha, you all got a lot to learn…. excluding JimBo.
